NICT is a tool for foreign language class, a way of communication and an opportunity to meet people around the world.

ADVANTAGES

Develop students’ languages skills because of the multimedia diversity (pictures, texts, videos, etc.)
Approach to collaborative language learning through the different tools (Forum, email, chat, IP voice, network, etc.)
Have at students disposal incommensurable information
Develop students’ intercultural competences through the bilateral expressions.

DISADVANTAGES

Overlook the linguistic aspects of language, because internet influences students to produce a fast text without paying attention to the linguistic errors.
Find some wrong information.
Meet dishonest people on the web.
Allow students lose the way and forget the objectives of the activity.
